War Resisters' International Council 2008 - Bilbao, Basque Country

The 2008 WRI Council meeting will take place in Bilbao, Basque Country from 29-31 of October 2008. Please add these dates to your diary and please let us know as soon as possible if you will be attending this year's Council.
Accommodation for the Council will be at the Youth Hostel in Bilbao, and we will also be organising homestay for some people. We do not yet know what the registration for Council will cost, but it will not be too high, possibly in the region of 100€ (including accommodation for two nights).

Closer to the date of the Council we will be sending out a detailed agenda for the meeting. Some items for the agenda will include:

- Constitution
- Finances
- Pattern of meetings
- Publications - including a presentation of the new web site
- Programme work
- Regionalisation
- Triennial in India December 2009
- Merchandising
- Ideas for short term research projects
