The occupation Industry Research Project

Along with various political, religious and national interests, the occupation is fuelled more and more by corporate - commercial interests.Israeli and international civilian companies and corporations are increasingly involved in real estate deals and infrastructure development in the Occupied Territories. We intend to collect existing and new information into an online dynamic database, and we plan to serve as an information center for queries about business and corporate involvement in the occupation. We hope this information will raise public awareness and stimulate a candid public debate about the costs and benefits of the occupation to different parts of Israeli society, and how these interests influence political decision making. We hope to cooperate with various groups and organizations concerned with corporate accountability, trade justice and labour rights.
