Howard gives some views ...

The writing style I think should be non-rhetorical - clear and simple - and not condensed, not trying to squeeze too many things in. That means that the present table of content is an outline for a much bigger book than originally proposed.

The web version can, of course, be infinite, but in the print version I think we might need to limit ourselves very strictly on a number of questions and rely on pointing to good web pages. That would probably mean not writing our own stuff on these but linking to what exists.

I wouldn't want to say a lot about burn-out - just some warnings and sources of advice. Some people spend pay so much attention to not burning themselves out that they never light the fire!

I wouldn't want to say a lot about consensus decision-making.

Case studies can be very illuminating, but that's usually when they occupy a lot of space. So again we might be looking to reduce case studies to some kind of table.

I have recently contributed a short section on preparation for action to a bibliography on nonviolent action. I'll circulate it to the list.

That's all. Howard

I have made some changes to the "Table of Contents" taking some of Howard's comments and some comments from the discussions at the Council Meeting in Seoul. Tell me what you think.
