The last issue of the Broken Rifle -- the Broken Rifle 101 -- included an article providing answers to one of the most difficult questions that pacifists have had to answer over the last few months, namely how to deal with Islamic State, or ISIS, without recourse to violence but also without abandoning the organisation's many victims to their fate.  Suggestions included targeting IS' funds and the banks that hold them, blocking the transportation of oil that will be used to fund the organisation, and counter-recruitment.  These and the other manifestly practical options for resolution contained in the article stand to be advocated widely.
