Neged Neshek - new website on Israel's arms industry
‘Neged Neshek’means ‘Against Arms’ in Hebrew. This website endeavours to be a valuable resource for news, data and analysis focusing on Israel’s arms industry with a secondary focus on militarism in Israeli culture, society and politics. While not (yet?) a project of any single organisation, Neged Neshek seeks to provide resources for those Palestinian, Israeli and international activists and organizations organizing against Israeli systems of occupation and apartheid as well as feminists, anti-militarists, environmentalists and others inside Palestine/Israel and abroad concerned by militarism and structural violence. At a more global level Neged Neshek seeks to be a productive part of the various campaigns for global disarmament, feminism and anti-militarism as well as efforts to subvert the political power of national military industrial complexes.
