Dear Supporter,
yesterday, eleven SOA Watch activists were sentenced to 1-3 months in federal prison. Eleven more reasons to double our efforts to close the SOA.

Here are two things we would like to ask you to do today:

1) Spread the word! Talk to your neighbors and your colleagues about the School of the Americas.
Distribute Presente, the newspaper of the movement to close the SOA. Please email Vera before Friday at vleone@soaw.org with your address to order a box of 150 copies for $25 (to cover the costs of printing and shipping) to distribute them in your community. 2) Contact the Presidential candidates to ask them to take a stand against the School of the Americas.
The websites of the two leading Democratic candidates list the phone numbers of their respective state campaign headquarters. Just a few phone calls before Super Tuesday (Feb.5) can make a difference:
