Dear readers of CO-Update.

welcome to the last issue of CO-Update for 2011 - the next issue is likely to come out in February 2012, due to the well-deserved holidays of the RRtK programme worker.

This issue of CO-Update is full of legal news: another judgement by the European Court of Human Rights (positive), a judgement by the Constitutional Court of Colombia (more or less positive), and a judgement by the Court of Appeal of Bermuda (well...).

However, today, while we write this, is also Prisoners for Peace Day. Hundreds of Prisoners for Peace are serving prison sentences for refusing military service, or for working against war and violence. War Resisters' International has been supporting Prisoners for Peace ever since 1921, and 90 years later this work is unfortunately still very necessary.
